International students who are ready to study in Australia must first apply to an institution for admission. For that, it is essential to know about the application cycle to study in Australia.

Admissions to universities in Australia are semester-wise. For most higher education institutions in Australia, typically, there are two semesters when application intake begins:

International applicants are subject to December deadlines.

Semester 2

Semester 2 goes from July to December.

International students can submit their applications till May.

Some of the Australian universities have a trimester system. The semester starts in January, May, and September. November, March, and June, respectively, are deadlines for the same.
