- Reading:
Duration: 54-72 minutes
Questions: 30-40 questions
Content: Test-takers read 3-4 passages from academic texts and answer questions that assess comprehension, inferring, and understanding of key ideas and details.
- Listening:
Duration: 41-57 minutes
Questions: 28-39 questions
Content: This section includes 2-3 conversations and 3-4 lectures or discussions. Questions focus on understanding the main ideas, details, and inferences in spoken English, as well as the speaker’s attitude and purpose.
- Speaking:
Duration: 17 minutes
Tasks: 4 tasks
Content: Test-takers are required to express their opinions on familiar topics, speak based on reading and listening tasks, and discuss academic content. The tasks are scored based on the clarity, coherence, and quality of the spoken response.
- Writing:

Content: This section consists of an integrated writing task, which involves reading a passage, listening to a recording, and writing a response, and an independent writing task, where test-takers write an essay on a given topic.
